"Alamo River Treasure: Tom Moore uncovered nearly 50 lbs. of gold ingots on the banks of the Alamo River near Brawley, California 1905. In 1936, prospector Dave (Highgrade) Roberts found another 50 lbs. while dry panning in the Alamo River bed near the Mexican border."
