These are some of the fossils I've found on the Brazos River.

Awesome... I drive over the bravos often; I never considered that those guys were hiding in there.

Very cool!!

Thanks. The Brazos river is 840 miles long and I live at the mouth. I've been pcking up and digging fossils and artifacts for 35yrs. The winter rains-floods and summer drought is always exposing a lot of nice treasure.

Nice!!!!! The smaller claw core may be from giant armadillo.

Those are cool finds

awesome thanks for sharing

Thanks, y'all. I'm learning something new everyday. And feel free too take a wild guess and I'll check it out.

Name that tooth?

^^^Anyone have any thoughts on removing some more of the excess rock or matrix from the crown of this tooth?

.

That particular one looks more like bone. The other tooth fragments you are holding in the original post look possibly like mammoth.

You have some great fossils. Keep posting!!! And good luck!

Thanks....

I screened these small bones on the Brazos River. I hadn't been able to find anything resembling them.

Fish pieces and parts?

What's your thoughts on using a watered down elmers glue to fix/salvage the fish fan. It's disintegrating. I'm afraid if I try to just put it back in the box, it will turn to dust.
