Ihad a very short window between errands, so decided to swing the coil at one of my permissions that was close by. I got an 1859 Vicky LC there last week. I stepped out of the truck, turned on my etrac, walked maybe 20' and got a solid 11:47. I was really hoping for a Vicky or George III silver, but instead, I pulled a large copper out of the hole. Gave it some toothpick love when I got home. It's in pretty decent condition. THANKS for looking and HH

Nice! I think it would have a nice green patina underneath but still looking better this way. Whas it a deep find?

It was about 6" in hard packed black soil. I'll probably keep it as is. The detail is pretty crisp and I have a tendency to destroy coins lol

If that's what you can do in a few minutes, what could you do in a day? lol
good results for the time you out in, you may have to give that spot a few more minutes

Nice coin one year younger than my house

Dang that's a cool find this side of the border congrats

Great detail on that one buddy

Lots of detail showing. Great find anywhere. Congratulations!

Thank you all! I'M going to leave that site alone until spring when the vegetation is knocked down. There are acres of land that is grown up too much right now I'm sure there's a silver hiding in there :)

Very Nice copper. Isn't it great when a short hunt pays off! :icon_thumright:
