A friend of mine introduced me to a seller who was hard up for some cash and I purchased this for $500.00. Was it a good buy for the price? I didn’t do any research. I just took his word. I would like to have you all’s opinion.

As long as you bought it because you like it, not as an in investment. That issue is selling for about $568.00 right now.

Not to my taste, but there's one with the same print-run certification being offered here with a "buy it now" of $875. Whether it achieves that or not is another question. [CORRECTION: Sorry, just realised that one's an Artist's Proof]
