Copper topped desk

I have a copper topped desk with engravings on it but I can't find any identification marks at all . I know it's old but that's all I know.

First off, that is a very nice unit. I’d estimate it was made around 1900. This is due mostly to the spindle leg design. I can’t see the copper work well enough to tell much. I do know that the table could have had the metalwork added well after it was made. Copper was often added for a style/appearance change or to conceal the appearance of visual damage. I’m certain a member or 2 will come through with better info on it. 👍🏼

I don’t know enough about furniture value to help you. I do know provable provenance can add a lot of value. Such markings can sometimes be found on drawer bottoms or under the top, visible when drawers are removed. Without a known maker, a known year, etc the price is usually driven by “the eye of the beholder”.
If the unit is solid (not wobbly), the drawers fit and function properly and there is no unseen damage, I could imagine it bringing $400+. If it can be accredited, considerably more. Again this is a novice opinion. A furniture dealer/restorer would be better versed to help you. Best wishes!
