I found this old bit at a site where I had found the old spoon and brass cup that I posted here awhile back. My question on the bit is does anyone have any idea how old this type is?

The other item I'm not sure of. It reminds me of some type of mirror that would be mounted on the outside. Tractor or old car? It has an acorn nut in the middle of the round disc.

Still in use today, and it could date way back.
