Brinks dime/quarters box questions....clear wrappers

Every brinks box I've gotten were clear wrapped. last dime box, i found 1 by edge searching, opened them to ne sure, and found a 1947 dime in dirty shape, I think it's worth opening and checking.

Good luck!

The only problem ive come across is there is only 1 bank in the area that i know of with a coin counter. My brother is a member there, guess ill send him up there with my dumps

I'm not positive as I can only get Loomis boxes, but I think its pretty common practice to just leave them in the wrappers and cash them in.

i get these clear wrap boxes, but sometimes get a regular green and white rolls, do they come from brinks?

I get clear wrapped dimes and quarters. I just bring em back to the bank.

I like to edge the clear wraps but do open the dirty edges too. This paid a mercury.

I went through a box each of nickels, dimes and quarters (my first boxes ever), opened all the nickels, and only opened the dimes an quarters i questioned which were both skunk boxes. However, the nickel box did have one 1943, my first CRH silver! Also had my mother bring over all her change today when she stopped by, found silver rosie, 1943 quarter, two more nickels and a barber dime(which was mine from years ago) Not to bad of a day to start. Cant wait to start getting 2 box orders of halves twice a week starting friday! Will have to try some more dimes or quarters until then!

If only halves came in clear plastic wraps.
