I literally just got home... I can see that the Indian Head is 1892 I have no idea what the holed one is yet.
... Saltwater sure is tough on coins

Nice finds! Congrats!
Salt water is hard for sure, I doubt zincs make it two years on one!

I know right... I'm starting to think the one with the whole is quite a bit older

Impressive! I hit a 1940 nickel on a cut yesterday, and was blown away. If I hit an IH, I would be speechless. Its rough hitting those old coins because the salt has a way of really roughing them up, best of luck

Thank you... I'm flabbergasted at the moment

tough to tell, a copper? maybe foreign?

Yeah I would say copper.. It reads a 58 on my AT.
It's strange though with the lack of green oxidation if this was not in the shape of a coin I would think it was bronze
But then the Indian Head was the same way

the inner circle with raised dimpbles and outside remind me of pine tree coinage, but i swear i see an indian standing on pic above my post????

I'm hoping it comes more into view after a day or two I don't know how it works but it seems some of my very old coins get easier to see after they dry up for a little while

Somebody mentioned to me the possibility of a brass Jetton

WOW!! Great coin finds, GatorBoy :notworthy:

I'd love to know the ID of the larger coin...very interesting!

Hope you find out what it is...will be waiting for the update.

Lorraine

Thank you.. I got a pretty good one today also 1926 mercury and 1918 wheat... Different spot.
The coin/pendant is actually a type of devotional medal. I will update the info shortly it represents a Holy Roman Emperor 1493. Maxmillion
