Broke Knife?Crude point?

Hello,

Got out on the river a few hours last weekend found a lotta flakes, bones, bottles Ect. no full points yet, I did find this that when I spotted it thought it was a broken point. It has micro edge work on both side & very fine work at the bottom. I thought it was a re-worked point because of the notch? BTW its Apporx 1/4" thick.

Looks so crude,
Any thoughts?

Hard to see in the worked edge in the photos but I'll take your word for it ... I'd say it's a utilized flake and not a broken point or anything.

Could be 1 they were starting and never finished. It shows work
