Got out for an hour before work and managed to pop out this merc that was almost on the surface from land washing away because the grass died.

Then got out during lunch to my secret spot that keeps producing. I pulled out a Rosie and a silver religious pendant marked 800. Plus a wheat harvest of 7.

I pulled out 3 clad dimes just forward of my coil without getting bitten by the ants in that mound.

Some other finds are a solid brass kids toy horse, some square buckle that may be from horse tac? Also the combat diver coin which is sorta cool.

Congrats! It must be nice having good sites to hunt so close to your work. I envy. That lead horse and rider is very cool.

I thought it was lead as well however, when I kissed it with my digger it is brass colored.

OK...that makes sense as the detail in the mold is not there and the color is all wrong for a lead soldier. Your cavalry soldier almost has a smooth "art deco" look to him. The rear leg on the horse is a sweeping curve instead of muscular and angled, I have never seen that before! Sorry but it has stumped me. Brass was usually reserved for trophy, ashtray, and award figures, which this may have been at one time. Great photos. Sub 8-)

I wasn't aware of that thanks for the info. I also thought that sweeping leg looked odd. Maybe it was some sort of trophy and was fixed to whatever it was by the front leg that is broken off. The horses mane also looks carved where they tried to show hair.

Very nice hunt! Really think the toy is cool

nice haul, would like a better pic of the combat diver (token?) coin

Great hunt three silvers, congrats
