Long winter, there's still patches of snow here and there.
Had an auction pick up and I had to drive by 2 different hunting spots.
But 50F and mostly sunny
The first site is a permission of an old United Church that got torn down 75-80 yrs ago.
It never seems to ever not give a silver and a few other finds.
Though it takes a little more effort each visit every year.
Dug the skeleton key, then the little make up sampler.
The first coin was a 1950 penny, and something sliced my glove tip open and when I took my glove off the blood was flowing.
No idea what cut me as I never felt anything for awhile then it was a pain.
I was gifted a 1914 Quarter and then the time was tight so I had to do the pick up for the auction.
On the way back I stopped at this community hall that has a few targets.
1959 Dime, 1928 & 1932 penny
The site also gave up a rosary that has glass beads, it has seen better days but I managed to get most or all of it out the hole.
In total 12 coins, bunch of caps, tabs, nails, headstamps.
Overall I'm really pleased that I'm on the silver board for 2026-now let the drought begin.
