Broken axe head?

I dug this out of my site about a month ago, to me it looks like a broken axe head. It looks to be pecked out and pretty scratched up. What do you guys think?

Natural Rock.

Maybe some type of abrader or smoothing stone. It looks like it has a couple very smooth surfaces. Look at these two -one sandstone and one chert, but both used to work on something. These are my favorite kind of artifacts...

i see the ax shape, but an ax as in a metal one. stone axes wouldn't be that shape.

All I am seeing so far are natural rocks..

These are not just natural rocks. One actually has a hafting area and the other has a groove or channel worn as it was used to smooth or sand something. These pics may be better...
