i seem to remember similar looking art work on metal items...tourist pieces...coming out of mainland Asia right after the war...late forties into the maybe early 60's...

Thanks for reply. I guess the way China was written and markings were made with what appears to be the same tool type and possibly made of brass due to the straight line breaks IMO. But not an expert just curious. Thanks
