Bronzite??

Don't know what it is but I cut it open and bronzite was the closest thing I found that looked similar.

TeAra, I'm not seeing the "bronzite", not clear in pic. Haven't seen you post for awhile.

I was without a computer for months but finally bought a new one. The rock has a metallic sheen to it before I cut it. There is brown, mixed and red looking one all over the bank behind my house. I don't know what it is but I am going to try and polish it up good to see how it looks.
