Broom or mop holder?

I found these items clumped together in one hole. The site I was working was a place wher the US Army has camped for ages. I have found CW items and some WWI relics. Before I pitch these to the trash heap, can anyone ID them? They look like they were suppose to clamp onto a round object (like a broom handle?)

They kinda look like small fire extinguisher hangers..not sure.

.....or a hanger for a oil lamp? ... making a guess from mud huts good not sure....
