So the kids at my sons school have all gotten into playing marbles recently. Well my sons one a few off his friends, and I've gotta say there are some nice designs on the market these days.
I'm wondering about this one in particular though... He traded it with a friend. Is this a handmade piece? It appears to have pontil scars on opposite ends making it imperfect (not completely round). Which actually bring me to another question - what's the story with imperfect marbles are they worth anything?
At any rate anything you could tell me is appreciated - thanks :icon_thumleft:

I think that is called Mica.. out of round marble I beleive have a lower value, but if that is handmade it could be worth a good bit.. I am not a expert ..but Duffy trash or Roaddog will know for sure

I used it to help me search and found an amber mica for sale here http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/8072938
The one my sons got isn't that big though.
Any other info though is always a plus :D
