Just curious if anyone knows what type of buckle this is I found along the shoreline. It’s two separate pieces joined together to make one buckle. The bigger piece has teeth crimped down to hold the smaller one in place. The whole thing is light weight and makes a hollow sound when tapped. Any ideas on type and age?I found many buckles in my day but this one has me stumped. It’s probably not very old but maybe something to do with woman’s clothing? Anyway thanks for looking and for any help! [emoji16][emoji106]

Looks like a fashion sash belt buckle to me.

Late 19th century fashion buckle is my best guess.
