Buckle ID help

[Bama Billy]

Found on a mid 1800’s home site. Based on size I kind of figured it was horse related but not sure. Anybody know what it is and maybe a year range? Thanks for looking.

Man I can’t beleive I didn’t!! Soon as I get back home. It is large though, roughly the size of the palm of my hand.

If it is that big I'm guessing 'saddle cinch' buckle.

hahaha actually my hands are big, XL gloves are too small.
