Buckle?

Found this behind a 1920/30 house but property has 1800 stuff and musket balls also this was a ways into the woods behind house is it a belt buckle or suspender clip it’s larger than any suspender clip I’ve found I hope someone can tell by the back of it I still have to clean it up it seems to have floral patterns in each corner these woods were also part of a early 1700s farm property and I know they hunted and used these woods has Rev war history also sorry not home now and picture was taken right after it was dug I’ll try and clean and post clearer ones when I get home not sure what it was
