Managed to grab a couple of hours today on a recently ploughed field. Found three buckles and two coins. One coin is Roman the other is a very clipped Henry 111 cut half.

I'm a bit envious at the finds across the pond...being medieval relics n all.

do you guys over there ever feel this way about the finds in America :)

I love seeing coins and relics that old, keep up the amazing finds

The two outer buckles are medieval, the middle one is 17/18Th Century. As to finds in America, the early Spanish coins look good, also to find the first true US coins must be fantastic.

Wow, I'd love to find some of those items you got there. Congrats on your finds. If you need a hunting partner from Ohio USA, I'll pack my bags. LOL

The Constantinian follis on the right is from the mint at Siscia and can be dated to 320 AD.
