went for a little hunt today behind my house. Found a flat button some horseshoes a few buckles (not sure how old), A finger helmet?, and some unknown pieces. I think the round piece might of been some sort of decretive piece for furniture maybe? no clue about the others.
any ideas?

Finger helmet lol is likely a horse buggy brake or whatever you call it

Congratualtions on the nice finds! :occasion14:

I found one of those "Finger Helmets", sure would like to know its purpose too. :dontknow:

Thanks, ill have to look into that

Its actually a shaft tip protector for a horse buggy/cart. They would lay on the ground when not attach to horse thus why they’re worn on one side

''piece for furniture maybe''
Yes, & the piece below is a drop pull for a chest of drawers. Pretty much went where the square hole is on the previous piece.

great finds!

Looks like some nice relics. I like the buttons.

Possibly a walking cane tip?
