Bull pendant

[Riggleman]

Found today in New Hampshire. Appears to be a bull leaping over a river surrounded by a wreath of chain. It is made of a gilted copper with lead filling, almost like a buckle. It is the size of the bottom of a soda can. Any ideas on an ID of what this item is or was part of would be appreciated. Thanks.

the back looks like it had something attached at the 12:00 o'clock and 6:00 o'clock positions. my first thought is possibly a rosette. second thought is a brooch possibly. Looks old, like maybe 1700's- early 1800's
