Ok, so I have had this thing in my possession since I was little. To my recollection, my mom or one of us kids found this on an adjacent property to a battle field where other bullets were being found on top of the ground. I wonder are any civil war relics like bullets found on top of the ground anymore? They were in the 70's. It has the weight of a bullet, has an inner ring on the bottom that looks like a paper crimp ring, but the patina seems all wrong for a bullet. It looks similar to the top piece of a shaler three piece but the size is all wrong. Could I have an experimental round of some kind? Strange huh? Next to a .69 cal for comparison.
