What is the difference between the two, besides the size difference in the probe end?

Is one better than the other?

The probe size is the only difference, and of course the blue color. I believe they were offered as a holiday freebie a year or two ago with purchase of a White's detector. I got mine from the big "K" store. Haven't had a problem with the switch yet.
