Burdie's July 2009 trip
This post is for those who would like to take a vacation but don't have the time and to let my friends know I am still kicking.
This years trip is going to Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, Iowa, and back to Kansas. Our first stop was Idaho springs Colorado for three days. We also ran up to winter park, Central City (to win some money) and Georgetown. It rained most of the day on the fourth of July. The fireworks at Central City is fantastic. A must see if you can. At one time 3,000 shells went off in 2 minutes during the end of it. Here are pictures.

The next day was spent in Georgetown and Idaho Springs. It was the 4th of july. It was 50 to 60 temps.
The next two shots are for WSD. Gold in them thar hills!
