ahhhhh memories!! We had a milk cow growing up and nothing like fresh milk! Home made ice cream, tapioca pudding.......yummmmers!!

Out storm was ano storm it is hardly wet out there I'm gonna have to get up early so I can go water my plants! I was lookin forward to it, but at least Jeff can mow tomorrow! :laughing7:

Oh, He has gotton a reprieve on mowen the non storm ---- well it stil no storm but, right about the time I drug my weary self to bed it started raining a good slow soaking rain! So he still wont be able to mow for a day or two! :icon_sunny:





I want to know what dads bringin me from Bama! ::)

I am going to tell you that Burdie got a little carried away in Bama....
He heard there was some really good stuff in the ground here & he didn't want to take a chance on missing anything. And I think ol' Nana is almost in over her head!

Good Lord I ate Auburn pancakes, Auburn possum stew, and had to sleep on an Auburn pillow. I walked in on Charlie and he has an A tattooed on his behind. It is a good thing he is one of the nices guys you would ever want to meet. :thumbsup:

We arrived in Savannah at 5:00 PM in a driving rain storm. It has stopped raining and we plan to take a walk in the old district. Will take pictures. Will post again tonight.

Glad you made it... good thing you figured out how to get out of that endless loop I programmed into your TOMTOM. I think Burdie got suspicious after the 34th time pulling into my driveway hearing "You have arrived at your destination!". I think Burdie was originally thinking Groundhog day.

Stan and Vicki,
I just want to tell ya'll how great it was to meet, detect and dine with you. I really had a great time. As you surmised I'm sure, summer is not the best time to detect (or anything else but swim) in Dixie. I hope ya'll will come back sometime in the fall, winter or early spring.
Ya'll have a safe and fun trip now, ya hear!

Diggerbug it was ALL my pleasure. Vicki and I felt like we were getting together with family. What a riot it was. Bless each and everyone of you. I made fun about leaving but the truth was I just hated to leave. OH yes I can't wait to go by me a pair of shoes. :icon_jokercolor: I laughed just going down the road. Your husband is a riot. :thumbsup:
