BURIED EVIDENCE in Eldred PA

Cyrus cole died in 1940. He was living in Otto when he died. I can't find anything on the trial,but I think he went back for whatever was left. Can anyone find anything else? I do have a copy of the death certificate.

Its an interesting story. I'm not sure why the Feds didn't just place him under surveillance and follow him? I'm thinking he would have gone back to retrieve the loot at one point in time, sooner than later?
