This is really interesting. I used to live on Kauai and remember hearing about an old story of a Russian princess that at some point way back in history had a cabin somewhere hidden in the jungle of the Na Pali coast. Someone said there was treasure buried somewhere around there but who knows if the story has any merit at all. I remember also speculating with people about whether or not there were any natural diamond or gold deposits in Hawaii. But no one had ever found diamonds or gold there. Based on this maybe there actually is some treasure somewhere in Hawaii. Very cool. Thanks for posting
