Mechanics use this stuff to remove grime and grease from hands safely since its not chemical and has lanolin iin it.

It doesn't matter what you do with the coin, it's worth at least silver melt, being 90% silver. It's a great thing to get it for face value, it's just not a valuable date and mint. I do think it's an 1885 minted in Philly, hence no mint mark. If it had a CC (Carson City) as a mint mark then it would be worth more.
