How do I determin the age of a colonial flat button? Can anyone point me to a website, or any information that will be helpful?

Yes it should be a sticky.
It would cut down on some of the basic button finds.

I have been hunting for some civilian flat button sources myself and find these links very helpful. Thank you for taking the time to post them. Should you find any others please post them as well.
