Well had a few hours today on a large field close to an old village. To look at the field on high ground, were the road runs into the village, that dates back to the 11Th Century you would think finds. Unfortunately the field seemed almost barren of finds. Did though get this very worn hammered silver coin, it's obviously not English. Also had this livery button with the London makers mark on the back 18Th/19Th Century. At least this afternoon the weather was perfect with some warm sunshine, and there's always tomorrow.

HH _ Robert.

Just got date for button, R bushby made buttons from 1806-24.

Well still nice to find a hammered silver despite unk origin. :) Robert Bushby - London - ca 1800-1830 in Tice's book, so your dates are in agreement.

Coin :icon_scratch: I wonder what it is. Still counts on the hammered count

Always nice to get a livery button, specially if a new type.

I'm looking forward to the weekend ;D

Maybe not, looks it was a milled billon.
