I got back to one of my "go-to" sites yesterday. No coins, but in two hours I dug another 7 buttons. Two were nice early US Navy buttons, but one did not fare well after cleaning.

Here is the other, which appears to be a variation of Albert's NA 88.

16 mm, Rope border, no stars. No. 3/ Extra Fine/ W. Wallis
