I cant see the center but it looks like a wreath, eagle on top, ribbon and words on bottom.

It's not a listed state button or government button that I can find. Although it is not listed as a school button either, it seems to have the style of some of these, and as well seems to have a monogram beneath the eagle? If that is a monogram, maybe you can describe the letters you can read as well as providing a reverse image?

That is a fince looking button, but I am not able to ID that either. On the light side seeing that you asked where it came from, I would believe maybe a coat or jacket

Might be another one of those modern blazer button. Looks most likely.

It looks like a variant of a U.S. Army Quartermaster button.
