✅ SOLVED Button help

The one on the left is a button with an eagle emblem, anyone know what kind of button it is.....the other thing has US on it and looks like it might have been attached the something, a mail bag? A trunk? We would really appreciate any ideas. Got some other mysteries today as well I am going to try to get on here.....thanks!

Looks like a Great seal button from one of the World Wars.. Hard too make out on that photo.

I took the liberty of enhancing your photo as much as i could. It is a Great seal button. They were made beginning in 1902 and are still in use. I can't tell for sure but it looks like there are traces of black paint on yours. If that is the case it would date from 1917-1923.
