This was found at a site that also gave up 2 KG2,s and an early shoe buckle chape. The diameter is 25 mm. Any help is appreciated. Art

Someone with a book on backmarks will have to fill in the date range for that

It looks like your button was made in the late 1830s according to this site. I don't know if British button makers continued to produce 1-piece buttons after the early 1840s or if they converted to the 2-piece ones like we did in the U.S.A.
