I found this button on a mid 1800’s former home site. I was about 6” down and rang up like a memorial, the funny thing is it has almost no corrosion and it’s almost as thick a clad quarter. The thing that makes me wonder about it’s age is the style of engraving, doesn’t look very old to me but you never know. The only modern trash on site is the occasional pull tab, other than that it’s very clean. If anyone has seen one like it or a font style like please comment below, there will be snacks and prizes😀
