button id?

hi all,i think this is a grat seal button from the other post i read,but does anyone know what year it might have been made? back says new york button works n.y.

ya its a great seal, they started using those circa 1902 - today, hard to say excatly what year yours was made though...they are fairly modern though. Nice find....Rob

Someone else posted here once that City Button Works was in New York from 1907 to 1923, after that they moved to Newark, NJ.
