US Army Cavalry Type III collar disc circa 1937-1943? I am sure our military experts will give you an absolute answer soon. Always a great find to recover US Military insignia, congrats. Sub

Subterranean is correct, it is a US Army Cavalry collar-disc insignia manufactured from 1937 to 1943. Sounds like he is using the same very-reliable info source I use.
