P.O.D. Could that stand for Post Office Dep. It is well made & was found in the Trigo MT.AZ. I never new a Postman had a uniform.

That button is pre-1971 (Post Office Department became the United States Postal Service). Looks like it came off a mail carrier's jacket.

This is what the jacket that your buttion came off of looked like. It was called a Eisenhower Jacket.
