Buttons and vehicles

Went out Sat. and this morning. Still fishing through trash, but found a few buttons. It's been real hot, so only hunt a couple hours right at sunrise. Good luck to all. Art

The vehicles look pretty old, much older than the normal Hot Wheels that I find! Some good button finds as well. Curious to know what the two longer items are in the middle of the photo. Looks like some fancy design on it. I had the same issue with the heat this past weekend, but you fared much better than I did. Congrats!

The two pieces are actually one piece. It was mashed flat and I opened it up. It was a tube at one time with a diameter of just over 3/4 of an inch. It's been on what is it since Saturday. No ID yet. Pretty sure it's Victorian 1837to1907. Any help is appreciated.

Victorian Era British coat of arms. Just no idea what it was for
