Thanks again for posting the pics Shane. does anyone know if the uniface hafted scrapers are a rare find? I cant find any reference to them in my books.

Thanks Peachy, I had never found one until about 2 weeks ago and now I have 5. I really like them alot.

I wouldn't say they're "rare" because I see folks post them here but I would say they're hard to come by LOL. I've only found one.

Buzz!! what happend in photo [ back side of halfted scrapper] its fuzzy making it hard to see, need better photo and while you are at it how about a flip side of the secand piece up on right of scrapper

The hafted scraper is not a true uniface. It looks to have an impact fracture on the knife and the end reworked into a hafted end scraper. Still a good day and a good find. They would rework that break in no time. I like it.

This scraper is only worked on 1 face and still has cortex on unworked side. Imho that makes it a uniface but I dont know alot been pickin them up for years but only just recently got into iding them. thanks for all replies and opinions.

The picture is not clear so it is hard to tell. Looks like the base is worked and some edge with the center blown out. Hard to tell from a picture. Can you take a better picture of the uniface side? Cool tool.
