I just took a leap of faith and bought a used Tiger Shark. I was going to buy a new Sand Shark, but I figure I will be better served with the Tiger when I also want to hunt the rivers. Our beaches are pretty tame mineral wise, so I'm hoping it will work out ok. The discrimination will also serve me better on the dry. I can hip mount it and work wet and dry.

Man, I have flip flopped so many times on which detector to buy.

Congrats on getting the Tiger Shark. You're going to love it. You may not need to hip mount it - its really not that heavy.
