Calling All PADLOCK Experts & Collectors - Need Your Help!

I was up in Pawling, New York, today with my wife. There was a lady having a roadside tag sale, so we pulled over. I got these padlocks because I thought they looked cool, and the two larger ones will look good in Shadowboxes. The gal told me the Sterling Jr. lock (with key and works!), was commonly used on Railroad switches (?). If you can idenditfy any of the three for me that would be great. Trying to nail down manufacture dates and most common uses. Thanks for Looking!

Nice. All I know for sure, Terry, is the Sterling IS a RR switch lock. I found one two years ago working a permission that had an old RR siding running through it. When I showed it to the property owner, he ID'ed it as such. I ended up giving it to him.

I am told that all three locks are Railroad locks.

The C&S Co, stands for, "The Colorado and Southern Railway (reporting marks C&S, CS) was an American Class I railroad in the western United States that operated independently from 1898 to 1908, then as part of the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad until it was absorbed into the Burlington Northern Railroad in 1981." - Wickipedia

I'm told the steel and brass locks would have been used on boxcars, and the newer Sterling Jr lock on signals and switches. Pretty cool!
