Well, it's suppose to snow bunches tonight and tomorrow here in OHIO. I thought since the temp was good (sic) 32, and I had the fever, I'd dig one good target in the frozen tunra of kenbo field, er my yard. One target is about a half hours work, frozen down to what I dug at 4 1/2 inches.
I posted some pics of several BPOE- elks badges I'd found in the yard, found this about ten feet from where I found the majority of the BPOE badges. Cira 1904 and '05. http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,67269.0.html
This do-dad had a stone in it at one time. I have the spot IDed for spring when I can dig, and crumble and sift the dirt for the stone if there.
Well, here it is. I'll show it now, and later after a cleaning.
About 1 1/4 inches from point to point both ways.
