Came across aTaxco 980 silver bracelet today for $2

I was making my GW rounds, I hit up 6 in my area and seen this in the junk jewelry case for $2. I seen the Taxco mark but then I seen the 980 beneath it. I never herd of 980 grade but the bracelet felt heavy for its size and it wasn't magnetic so I bought it thinking that if it was plated I wouldn't break the bank. I just got home and looked up 890 silver and sure as heck it does exist so Im glad I didn't pass it up. I weighed it and its 26grams, thanks for looking guys.

That is an awesome find. Go to 925-1000.com and compare to the Taxco marks -- you could have a mega treasure on your hands.

It's an older taxco mark, pre 1948 no eagle.

Getting better by the minute. I'm thinking at least $100.00. See a few on ruby lane in the 300-400 range.
