Found this cameo ring deep in the woods about a week ago. Thought it was probably copper until I started looking at similar cameo rings and the closest match to this seems to be the rose gold variety. Came out of the ground with no corrosion. I don't have a gold tester, so I'm wondering what you think? There are no markings.

There appears to be an inscription that I can't quite make out too. It is VERY VERY small.

Thanks for looking!

Sweet ring!! :headbang: It looks maybe Victorian era to me but I'm no expert with rings.

She is a beauty !! Congrats :icon_thumright:

Beautiful ring. I wonder if the inscription that you see is the owners initials? :icon_thumright:

Very nice.I would have it tested for sure.

That's a different looking ring looks old to me , Congrats. :headbang:

very nice. looks old to me

I have found a few older 10K rings which seem to have a copperish tone to them. Native American Indian Art, yet not crudely made, would lead me toward late 19th to early 20th century but I am no expert.

Inscription appears to be GOE or AOE.
