Greetings dirt detectives, I have one for you today.

Great signal from this big round brass piece, figured it was a pipe fitting before I saw the lever on the side. Reminds me of a camera film advance, it seems a bit big for that.

OK, I found it at the same site as my percussion pistol lock, also not far from a piece that looks just like the top left doohicky in this pic, I'll ad the photo when I get home. Maybe parts of the same thing.



Edit: added the pic, it is certainly part of a powder flask mechanism as in your pic! Maybe not from the same one, perhaps I have parts of two? I'm gonna call this solved! thanks guys!
