Camping over in Lake County, CO

Went over towards Independence Pass and camped in the Twin Peaks campground along Lake Creek last night. In Lake County, fire danger moderate, 70's in the day, 40's at night, tourist occupation about equal to last year, and no reports of bear attacks that I've heard of. Maria had a good time, and as usual one of the highlights for her I believe was listening to more of my tales of true outdoor adventure around the campfire. Great to have someone who doesn't question your stories and try to de-rail them with a bunch of alleged 'scientific facts'. (haha! that pic of us wasn't posed; it just came out that way, and sorry about the smoke blowin in the pic.)
