hello everyone i found a mans ( FREDDIE ) ID bracelet today minus the chain an i almost
got kicked out of the woods for finding it ;D it's marked JAG STERLING
i tried searching the web an all i get is Jaguar Jewelry or join the JAG Corp. like all relics i dig
i'm curious what JAG means ? and it's age old - new ? its about 2 3/8" long, 1/2" wide, 1/16" thick

Well, i was all excited when i posted yesterday searched the web a little bigcypresshunter tried
to help me out  come this morning i remembered through out the years i bought a bunch
of books for references on relics one is called "Trade Marks of the Jewelry and Kindred Trade"
the index had Chain Bracelets pg 9 - 75 nuthin matched I was ready to check Marks of Gold
and Silversmith's pg 268 - 274 on the way there i saw pg 241 and there it was J.A.G. i'm not
sure if it's a definite match ? beings there are dots after each letter my item doesn't have them
i did a search on the company history no luck though :(

maybe i solved my own what's it ? i dunno what do you all think Russian or American ?
anyone here have the know how (more than i know how) to find some history on this company

Try companies that make expensive pet ID tags.

The way this thing is scratched up I wonder if it was part of a dog collar and well worn by a field dog or something.
