I dug this button in the woods along with civil war bullets in the same area. It's in bad shape and looks like it was in a fire. I can make out colour ant I believe Kent. It's small, probably a cuff button. I'd like to know how old it may be. Thanks ahead of time.

I believe it says ORANGE COLOUR around the bottom. Pre-Civil War. 1780's to 1830's give or take a decade.

Man your eyes are way better than mine! I looked at that backmark for an hour and could not figure out what it was. Thanks a lot.
